​​About AISI:

​​We're a fast-paced research organisation inside the UK government. We're working to develop the deepest technical understanding of frontier AI's risks and what to do about them, then galvanise the UK, international governments, and developers to mitigate them. We have nearly 100 technical staff, many of whom have joined from places like Google DeepMind, OpenAI, and Anthropic.

​​Our work includes:

• ​​Frontier research on technical solutions for safeguards, control, and alignment

• ​​Pre-deployment evaluations of models such as OpenAI's o1 and Anthropic's Claude 3.5 Sonnet

• ​​Inspect, our open-source evaluation framework, and the new Inspect Cyber
