Welcome to the Open Accelerator's Problem-Oriented Healthcare Hackathon. Instead of asking you to brainstorm hypothetical scenarios, we are unleashing you on real problems. We’ve partnered with healthcare domain experts, "Challenge Champions," who are bringing us their biggest bottlenecks, daily frustrations, and operational nightmares.
Your mission? Team up, write great code, and create fresh, unbiased, and innovative solutions to fix them.
What to Expect
Real Problems, Zero Constraints: You'll receive pure, unfiltered pain points directly from the experts with maximum room for wild creativity so you can tackle challenges from completely unexpected angles.
Video Pitches: Watch short, raw video pitches from our Challenge Champions to understand the real-world stakes before the coding even begins.
VIP Mentorship: End-users matter. Our Challenge Champions will drop in for office hours during the build to answer your questions and provide the most important perspective you can get.
The Main Event (Judging): At 3:30 PM, you will pitch your jaw-dropping (and sometimes crazy) solutions directly to the experts who need them. Help us recognize the tech they would actually use.
