💡 About the Film

Future Council isn't just about challenging institutions to do better—it highlights the visionary organizations already rewriting the rules. You'll see real-world governance experiments in action, including:

  • Faith In Nature: The pioneering company that legally made "Nature" a formal member of its corporate board.

  • Decathlon: The global brand that implemented a real-world Future Council within its ESG practices to integrate youth perspectives into long-term decisions.

The film is inspired by the global Future Council Initiative, which empowers youth aged 9–16 to establish their own councils and shape the decisions affecting their communities.

🗣️ The Post-Show Dialogue

Stay with us after the credits roll for an urgent conversation on youth climate leadership and civic participation. Our panel of local activists and stakeholders will dive into:

  • How businesses and institutions must evolve to listen to frontline communities.

  • The intersection of environmental justice and responsible business.

  • How Toronto youth can sign up and launch their own local Future Councils right here in our city.
