About Event

You’re building for a better future, but are you sustaining yourself in the process?

We're gathering women building bold climate solutions for an evening of honest conversation, reflection, and real connection.

No panels. No pitching. Just space to breathe, celebrate what you've built, ask for what you need or offer your support.

Rooted in water, wellbeing, and each other.

This is a small, intentional gathering for women doing bold work in climate: founders, mentors, and ecosystem champions who also happen to be human beings who need rest, laughter, and real conversation. In the spirit of Toronto Climate Week and Ocean Week Canada, the evening will bring together the Women4Climate Alumni network, and women championing climate innovation in the Toronto ecosystem.

5:30 — Come in and exhale. Doors open at 5:30 with drinks, snacks, and a creative art station to help you unwind and ease into the evening. No rush, no agenda. Just a gentle landing.

We also invite you to arrive with a reflection: what is your relationship with water, in your life and in your work? What does it restore in you? Let that be your way in.

6:00 — Ground yourself We open together with a grounding meditation led by Erica Gittens, Founder and Mindfulness Guide, AURA BODY+HOME. A moment to land, breathe, and remember: our relationship with water, the ocean, with stillness, with ourselves shapes everything we build.

6:05 — Welcome Remarks A warm welcome from your hosts and the Women4Climate community champions. The women behind this gathering who know that the most powerful thing we can do for climate is take care of the people building solutions for it.

6:15 — Community connect Bring one thing you're proud of: a win, a lesson (a good one or a challenging one), a moment you made it through. And bring one bold ask for the women in the room who might just have the answer, the intro, or the encouragement you've been looking for.

7:00 to 8:00 — Linger and connect with intent The rest unfolds gently. More conversation, more connection, more of what happens when women in climate actually have time to talk to each other.

We hope you'll show up in the spirit of mentorship, trusting that we all have something to learn from each others' experience in purpose-driven work and resilience.

Getting here We love a good walk. Bike, take transit, and arrive with a little less on your conscience. Come sustainably, however that looks for you.

ABOUT OUR PARTNERS

Women4Climate Toronto Mentorship Program empowers and supports female climate leaders working to develop and implement innovative solutions to address the climate emergency in Toronto. Participants receive the resources and support necessary to take their climate-related project, product, or business to the next level, culminating in a pitch competition that recognizes projects with the greatest potential to contribute to a healthier, more sustainable, and resilient urban future.

Ocean Week Canada is an annual national celebration of ocean events, learning, and engagement. Coordinated by the Centre for Ocean Literacy Collaboration, it brings together a multi-partner program of national events and activities held during the week of World Ocean Day, June 8th, amplifying community-scale events happening across the country. Find events here in Toronto as the Ocean Week Canada Toronto Hub, or across the country from June 1 to June 8.

Toronto Climate Week transforms the city into a global stage for climate solutions, uniting Canada's climate ecosystem and welcoming international partners for a week of cross-sector collaboration. As a decentralized event platform, it convenes climate innovators, industry leaders, researchers, policymakers, and community groups to catalyze innovation, investment, and public engagement, positioning Toronto as a leading climate hub with global reach.
