About Event

Join Feihu Tang from the Moonshot AI team and Zain Hasan from Together AI for a technical session on how the Moonshot team built Kimi K3 for long-running agent workflows across code, tools, vision, and research, and how to actually run it on Together.

Most models can handle a prompt, tool call, or coding task in isolation. Real-world agent workflows need to carry context across long-running sessions, navigate repositories, orchestrate terminal tools, interpret visual feedback, and connect research to executable work. Keeping all of that moving coherently becomes harder as tasks grow longer and more complex.

Kimi K3 takes a different approach: it is the first open 3T-class model, with 2.8T parameters, native vision, and a 1-million-token context window. This session will focus on how this agentic setup works in practice, what makes K3 different from earlier open-source releases, and how to harness it to power your own agentic applications on Together.

This is a learning-first webinar, ideal for folks building and scaling LLM-powered apps, tools, and agents who need to understand what’s different about K3 and how to use it in production.

What we’ll cover

  • Why long-running agent workflows are difficult: the challenges of carrying complex work across code, tools, vision, and research over extended sessions.

  • Why Kimi K3 is special: what an open 3T-class model with native vision and a 1-million-token context window enables for agentic applications.

  • What Moonshot learned from building Kimi K3: high-level lessons from developing a model for long-horizon coding, reasoning, and knowledge work.

  • Kimi K3 in practice: examples of how the model works across software engineering, visual creation, tool use, and research workflows.

  • Building on Together AI: how to access Kimi K3 and run long, tool-heavy agent workloads on Together Serverless Inference.
