NorCal Community Circle | 4/26
We’re delighted to welcome you to another Community Circle. This in-person gathering, hosted in partnership with the Persian Student Association at the University of California, San Francisco, brings together students and alumni of Iranian heritage to connect, support one another, and grow within a warm and welcoming environment.
Join us for a conversation with an inspiring panel of attorneys from our community as they share their career journeys and professional experiences in the legal field. The discussion will explore how diverse paths, lived experiences, and evolving perspectives shape careers in law today, while also reflecting on the current landscape of U.S. law, including immigration, policy shifts, and the broader social and political climate. Attendees will gain both insight and practical guidance as they navigate their own professional paths in an increasingly complex environment. This event is designed to foster learning, meaningful dialogue, and community-building.
This event's panel features two accomplished leaders in the field:
• Paris Etemadi Scott: Immigration and human rights attorney with over 11 years of experience, currently serving as the Legal Director at Pars Equality Center.
• Elica Vafaie: Program Director for Immigrant Rights at the Evelyn and Walter Haas, Jr. Fund, where she leads initiatives to strengthen immigrant power and representation across California and nationwide, with over 15 years of experience.
This is open to students, alumni, and professionals from all fields and universities. Everyone is welcome.
Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot today. We look forward to having you.
