Workshop: Build your perfect AI analysis workflow | R9. Berlin UX research community meetup #10
Rob Manzano, R9. Berlin and N26 invite you to a hands-on prompting workshop for user researchers.
Learn to craft analysis prompts that maintain research rigour whilst delivering insights 90% faster.
Do you agree that AI research tools produce shallow insights researchers can't trust? These tools are black boxes without control over how they analyse, what they prioritise, or how they validate findings.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the prompting techniques that transform AI from a party trick into a genuine research multiplier. Bring a recent interview transcript and we'll analyse it together, building custom prompts that deliver the depth and rigour you'd expect from manual analysis.
What are you going to learn?
Multi-step prompting: Why single-pass analysis produces sup-bar results and how to chain prompts for depth
How to best combine human and artificial intelligence
Validation workflows: How to catch AI hallucinations before they become "insights"
Using AI for coaching: Teaching AI your research standards, methodology, and domain knowledge
Prompt templates you can use with any AI tool (ChatGPT, Claude, or specialised platforms)
A more structured way to do all of the above
What will you leave with?
Reusable prompt templates for observation extraction, insight synthesis, and validation
A complete analysis of your own interview transcript
Moderation feedback on your interview technique
Understanding of when AI helps vs. when human judgement is critical
Who is this for?
Ideally, participants are dedicated UX researchers with substantial experience in UX research; experience using AI tools for analysis is a strong plus.
What to bring?
Just bring curiosity and one interview transcript (30 - 60 min conversation, VTT format) you are going to analyze.
