She Ships With Bekah Hawrot Weigel

Ten years in the college English classroom left Bekah Hawrot Weigel with one very transferable skill: knowing how to make complex ideas land.

Roxy sits down with the Developer Experience Lead at Paper Compute, whose career pivot from adjunct instructor to developer advocate is as unexpected as it is inspiring.

From building Virtual Coffee — a thriving community supporting developers at all levels — to working across AI-native workflows, technical documentation, and developer education, Bekah has spent years helping people find their footing in tech.

She didn't leave teaching behind. She just found a bigger classroom.
