Unconference: Own Your AI Stack
Mozilla and deepset are bringing Thunderbolt and Haystack together for an AI evening in Toronto.
Thunderbolt is Mozilla Thunderbird's open-source, extendable AI client. Haystack is deepset’s open-source framework for building AI agents and defined flows. Together, they let you choose your interface, your agents, and your models, and run all of it on infrastructure you control.
We’ll start with a live demo of the two working together, then break into small discussion sessions. When you register, tell us what you’d like to discuss, and we’ll choose session topics based on your answers.
Space is limited, so registration is approval-based.
👥 Who is This Event For?
Builders and decision-makers on both sides of the agent stack, from the interface people use to the agents running behind it:
AI and agent engineers building agentic workflows that run in production
Developers building AI-powered apps, internal tools, and custom interfaces
Product managers and tech leads shaping how their teams use AI
Founders and engineering managers deciding what to build on
Innovation leads and decision-makers exploring how to adopt AI while keeping control of their data, models, and infrastructure
The goal is to share experiences, ask questions, and learn from others who are building or enabling real-world AI systems.
🧠 Unconference Event Format
This event follows the unconference format. We’ll form discussion groups based on topics you shared during registration, so the agenda reflects what matters most to you.
Bring your questions, share your learnings, or simply listen in and learn from others in the field.
