Career Clinic for Disabled, Neurodivergent & Chronically Ill Professionals
Are you a professional who works around your chronic illness, neurodivergence, or disability? Is your chronic illness or disability holding you back from your dream career or that promotion you’ve been craving? Does discussing your condition at work seem impossible? Are you nervous about opening up to your colleagues and superiors?
SIC is bringing back its monthly career drop-in events in 2026, where attendees will have a safe space to ask questions, discuss with peers and work through any issues that they are facing, either in their current workplace or getting into work in general.
Join us on Wednesday, 25th February 2025, 12-1 pm, for our online career drop-in. Throughout the hour, we will have professionals available to answer your questions and challenges about the workplace, careers, and what SIC can offer you. You’ll also have the opportunity to network with peers and discover a community of disabled and chronically ill professionals here in the UK. Any and all disabled/chronically ill people are welcome to attend!
This event will be hosted by SIC consultant, Lucy Owen, former CEO of the Dyspraxia Foundation and Chair of Trustees at Neurobetter. Plus, SIC Support Worker, Rebecca England.
To allow attendees to get the most out of this event, tickets will be limited to 15 attendees. Tickets are FREE.
If you do book a ticket but are later unable to attend, please cancel your booking, as spaces are limited and this will allow for another participant to join.
