D&D 5e with Peter

​This is an RPGFest event; we'll be playing an in-person tabletop roleplaying game with a small group. The game will be hosted in Hyde Park. Come prepared to roleplay!

… And Thus Begins the Everlasting Rime, when the Goddess of Winter enveloped all of Icewind Dale in the endless darkness of winter. As the Ten-Towns struggle to survive, the town of Termalaine has a unique problem.

​The town of Termalaine has always been one of the more prosperous ones in Icewind Dale, owing much of their success to three sources: the lake that provides food, the woods that provide shelter and timber, and the gem mine that brings wealth and prosperity. As the Everlasting Rime makes the first two more barren, now monsters have infested the gem mine, cutting off trade with the other towns and threatening the existence of Termalaine.

​In this campaign, you will play as a group of hardy adventurers recruited by the Speaker of Termalaine to help exterminate the monsters that infest the Mine. The town’s militia has been driven out after an unsuccessful attempt two months ago, so there is no telling what lies below. As you descend, perhaps some deeper truths start to show their true forms.

​This is a mid-level adventure starting with player characters at level 4. Beginners are welcome, though some cursory knowledge of how to create a character in D&D 5e is helpful. I am open to providing extra assistance for new players. There will also be premade characters available to choose from.
