Burning Heart Society: Open Mic (Poetry, Written Word, and Music)

After lighting the flame for the first time in September, we would like to welcome everyone with a burning heart to read their poetry or written word or to perform their music on 21 October at Vice Versa.

The Burning Heart Society (BHS) is a a new guard of aspiring writers and muscians, imploding within, lighting the literary art scene ablaze, At our core the collective is dedicated to humanness, cultivating raw excellence, and helping each other grow and expand in our craft.

During this event we will also be signing up people who are interested in getting more involved with our organization!

Please note for musicians: We will not have any instruments ready for you at the venue. Acoustic performers are invited to bring their instruments to play. If you use an electric instrument (like an electric guitar or a keyboard), please send us an email before October 19th at theburningheartsociety@gmail.com

We look forward to welcoming you on Wednesday 21 October! Let's burn together!
