​Join Thinkin' Rocks GPU Compute Workshop!

​Curious about GPU programming and high-performance computing? Join us for an evening exploring how to harness the power of GPUs and make code run faster through parallelism.

​The workshop is a great opportunity to prepare for the Thinkin' Rocks GPU Programming Competition on November 7th, but you are equally welcome if you're simply interested in learning more about GPU computing!

​We'll focus on reduction, a common problem that lends itself particularly well to GPU parallelism. You'll get hands-on experience with the concepts and techniques behind efficient GPU programming.

​The event is open to engineers, students, and anyone who likes making code run blazingly fast. Whether you're looking to sharpen your skills before the competition or just curious about the topic, come along and learn something new!

​You should be comfortable writing basic C/C++. No previousGPU or CUDA experience is required, since you’ll have the manuals and documentation to learn from during the event.
