Welcome to the first Small STEPS.

It feels to us like so many of the STEPS Collective, including ourselves, have been out in the world doing things - and as Latour notes, a thing is a 'complex assembly of contradictory issues.

And this is great. So we wanted to take a moment to open up an online space for sharing some of our small, local wins. It could be local in terms of place, discipline, industry, practice... however you want to interpret it.

The brief, then, is this. If you want to point to something you've been a part of, prepare a couple of visuals (if that helps) and come and tell us about it. Little 5-10 minute slots, decided as we arrive, and off we go.

For this first Small STEPS John V Willshire will open up with some quick stories about Sussex, Orchards and Community Centres. And then... it's over to you.
