trash wars: bushwick
Welcome to Trash Wars: a citywide challenge where neighborhood cleanup clubs battle litter, challenge each other to do better, and prove once and for all that New Yorkers can accomplish incredible things when they're fueled by equal parts civic pride and mild annoyance.
Join The Bushwick Trash Lady and The Trash Foundation in partnership with Artmageddon as we launch the first official chapter of Trash Wars and issue a challenge to the next neighborhood brave enough to enter the arena.
For Episode I, the Bushwick Litter Pickers have been selected as tribute.
We will start with 30 minutes of just collecting cigarettes and then the second 30 minutes will be collecting trash. We will tally up the totals and see how much of each category was collected! And then the challenge goes to the next group.
