SDA 2026/2027 Knowledge Sharing Session (How does a micro-community take shape and stay together?)
Join us for “How does a micro-community take shape and stay together?”, an online Knowledge Sharing Session held over Zoom as part of the Singapore Design Awards 2026/2027.
This session offers designers a deeper look into Design Challenge 2 by the Singapore Government Partnerships Office (SGPO) on Micro-communities: How might we, as designers, bring different people and groups together to form resilient and sustainable micro-communities who act for community good?
Hear from three panellists, representing Stridy, Kampong Kapor Community Services and SGPO, in a cross-sector panel discussion on micro-community building in Singapore. A Q&A will follow, where you can put your questions to the panel.
Whether you’re just starting to explore the challenge or looking to sharpen your approach before submission, this session will equip you with the context, insight and real-world grounding to design meaningfully for community good.
