​About the Host: Jasminee Persaud founded of Green Liberty Village, a community-based volunteer-led group to increase climate literacy and action among Liberty Village residents in downtown Toronto. Recognized as a 2026 Toronto Climate Champion by the Office of the Deputy Mayor, Jasminee’s background in economics and international affairs drives her interest in creating local solutions to global issues.
