El Splash Zone es una experiencia musical participativa bilingüe que reúne a las comunidades hispanohablantes e inglesas con un espíritu de esperanza, conexión y sanación. La experiencia incluirá una combinación dinámica de canciones, actividades, títeres e historias: perspectivas inspiradas por las abejas a medida que atravesamos y nos transformamos ante los conflictos, especialmente la tensión derivada de los malentendidos interculturales. Partiendo de la historia de la Torre de Babel, recorreremos juntos los desafíos y oportunidades acuáticos de la diversidad multilingüe, todo ello con la música original interpretada por los Babble Ons.
Esta no es una experiencia para espectadores: prepárense para salpicarse con sentimientos, bailar en enjambre y tejerse en historias de metamorfosis a través de la fricción. Habrá diferentes niveles de participación a los que pueden optar. Salgan con nuevas amistades y un arsenal de herramientas para afrontar conflictos, equipado con canciones y prácticas para aportar ligereza y perspectiva a los momentos de tensión.
Empezaremos con un reporte sobre el trabajo con las abejas nativas en Abya Yala, completo con fotos, cuentos, y pruebas de mieles con Abejas Sin Fronteras (ig: @abejasinfronteras). El Splash Zone is a bilingual participatory musical experience, bringing together Spanish and English speaking communities in the spirit of hope, connection, and healing. The experience will feature a dynamic blend of songs, activities, puppets, and story - uplifting insights from the bees as we move through and are transformed by conflict, especially tension that stems from cross-cultural misunderstandings. Spinning off from the story of the Tower of Babel, we’ll journey together through the watery challenges and opportunities of multilingual diversity - all carried on the current of original music performed by the Babble Ons.
This is not a spectator experience - get ready to be splashed with emotion, get out of your seats in playful dance, and get tangled up in stories of metamorphosis through friction. There will be different levels of participation you can opt into. Walk away with new friendships, and a loaded conflict tool belt - equipped with songs and practices to bring levity and perspective into moments of tension.
