AI Dev Tools Zoomcamp 2026 Course Launch
The new cohort of AI Dev Tools Zoomcamp 2026 starts on August 31, 2026.
In this launch session, course creator Alexey Grigorev will help you start the cohort with a clear workflow for using AI developer tools without losing control of the code you ship.
The course is not about collecting every new AI tool. It is about learning how to choose the right tool, give it the right context, extend it with the right capabilities, and ship safely with review, audit, security, and DevOps controls.
What We'll Cover
Alexey will walk through:
What changed in AI Dev Tools Zoomcamp 2026
The four-module course path and how the modules fit together
How to use AI tools for planning, coding, review, testing, and shipping
The cohort rhythm: lectures, homework, deadlines, leaderboard, peer review, and certificates
How to set up your environment and pick your first tools
How to avoid getting stuck comparing every assistant
How to ask questions and get help in the DataTalks.Club community
What to expect from the final project
There will also be time for live questions, so bring anything about ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, MCP, coding agents, AI-assisted testing, GitHub Actions, deployment, security, DevOps, or your project idea.
Course Modules
The 2026 cohort is built around four updated modules:
Module 3: Coding Agent Capabilities: MCP, Skills, Plugins, and Custom Agents
Module 4: Open-Source AI Tools for Security, Audit, and DevOps
