​Are you considering a career in PR? Do you want to learn what it’s like to work at a leading communications agency and hear directly from industry professionals? Good news! Highwire PR has invited current COOP fellows to an In-Person Open House on Tuesday, September 23rd from 12–2 PM PT at their San Francisco office.

​At this session, you’ll get an inside look at careers in public relations, hear resume and interview tips from Highwire’s recruiting team, and connect directly with employees during networking. Whether you’re just starting to explore PR or actively pursuing it, this event is a unique opportunity to learn about the skills, challenges, and rewards of working in the industry.

• ​12:00–12:10 pm (10 mins): Office tour + welcome

​Important Notes for Fellows

• ​This event is for current COOP fellows only.

• ​Attendance is capped at 30 fellows.

• ​RSVP is required via Luma — no walk-ins will be allowed.

• ​Fellows selected are expected to attend in full; no late arrivals/early departures.

• ​Highwire currently has a Post-Grad Internship opening (applications open Sept 23–Oct 23). To apply for this role, fellows will need to have their resumes reviewed and approved by their Program Manager before submitting.

​COOP’s Partner Event Attendance Policy (Quick Summary)

• ​You must attend all partner-led events during program hours and, for virtual events, be on camera ready to engage.

• ​If you need to be absent, notify your captains (during program) or the Partnerships team (outside program) ahead of time.

• ​If you sign up and fail to attend without notice, you may be deprioritized and waitlisted for future events.

• ​If you sign up but can no longer attend, notify the event organizer at least 3 days in advance or as soon as possible.
