About Event

AI agents are transforming how software is built and operated  but security and compliance haven't kept pace. Traditional audits and point-in-time assessments were never designed for autonomous systems that continuously access data, invoke tools, and make decisions without human intervention.

Join the CSA San Francisco Chapter and our community partner ISC2 East Bay Chapter for an evening exploring what continuous AI compliance actually looks like in practice: how organizations can build trust into AI agents and MCP-enabled systems through real-time governance, continuous verification, and runtime security.

The industry is shifting toward a model where security controls, governance, and compliance evidence are verified continuously rather than once a year  a shift accelerated by new CSA frameworks including the AI Controls Matrix (AICM), AI Consensus Assessments Initiative Questionnaire (AI CAIQ), STAR for AI, and the AI Organizational Responsibilities and Maturity Model.

AGENDA

Networking & Refreshments

Arrive, connect, and meet fellow AI, security, and engineering leaders over food and drinks.

Keynote: Continuous Compliance for AI Systems

Speaker: Frederick Kautz, Cloud Native, Zero Trust, AI Security, Software Supply Chain Leader

As AI agents become autonomous participants inside enterprise systems, traditional compliance models are no longer sufficient. Frederick explores how organizations can continuously verify AI behavior, collect compliance evidence automatically, and build trust into AI systems from design through production. Followed by audience Q&A.

Panel Discussion: Who's Responsible? Governance, Risk & Accountability in the Age of Agentic AI

Panelists:

• Alan Eng, Director of Partnerships, Northeastern University

• Arjun Subedi, Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer, astha.ai

• Rene Casco, Co-Founder, Casco
