Development is getting faster, but QA cannot scale simply by adding testers at the same rate as developers.
At The Test Tribe’s 13th Berlin Meetup, Mofazzal Hossain will share how Cybus has shifted QA from a traditional gatekeeping role toward an advisory and system-level quality function, and how agentic AI can help make that model more scalable.
Instead of using AI only to generate tests, the approach captures QA knowledge in repo-based skills that are versioned with the code, reviewed through pull requests, and executed in CI.

The session looks at how QA teams can scale their impact by changing where and how they apply their expertise.
At Cybus, tickets are explicitly routed as dev-verified, advisory, or QA-owned. Developers verify their own features against a test plan shaped and reviewed by QA, while QA focuses more deeply on system-level, non-functional, and other areas where specialist quality expertise is needed.
The next layer is agentic AI. Mofazzal will show how QA knowledge can be encoded into reusable, version-controlled skills that move from a Jira ticket toward executable tests.
You’ll also see the limits of the approach, including where AI-generated outputs still require review and where human judgement remains essential.
