Pitch Deck Teardown

​Front Row Ventures (FRV) is proud to host the very first edition of Pitch Deck Teardown: an event made by student VCs, for student founders.

Summer is one of the biggest seasons of the year for the Montreal startup ecosystem, and we want to make sure you walk into it ready. Before you find yourself in the room with seasoned investors, come spend an evening with us: members of the FRV team will take a look at your pitch and pitch deck to give you our honest feedback through the lens of a VC evaluation.

Bring your deck, bring your questions, and expect candid feedback from people who actually get what it’s like to be building while still in school. A select number of student founders will get a dedicated 1-on-1 session with an FRV investor to tear down their pitch slide by slide. We’ll then regroup as a full room to share what weakens a pitch, what makes investors tune out, and what actually works, before opening the floor for networking and open Q&A. Ask us anything!

This is a low-pressure, high-signal night to help you show up sharper throughout fundraising season. We’ll see you there.

​Everyone who registers is welcome to join us for the debrief & networking sessions at 7:30.

​Due to limited investor availability, only a select number of startup teams will be invited to participate in the 1-on-1 teardown sessions — so register early to maximize your chances!
