About Event

Product Circle is a conversation format from Product Commons, an independent, peer-led product community. Instead of a speaker and an audience, everyone sits in the circle. A facilitator opens with a question, keeps the discussion moving, and makes room for different voices, but the substance comes from the people in the room.

For 90 minutes, we'll share what we're seeing in our own work: what AI has made easier, where it falls short, and what we're still figuring out.

What We'll Discuss:

The conversation will move across these themes:

  • PM responsibilities: what's shifting in the day-to-day job

  • Product workflows: where AI fits into how work actually gets done

  • Product discovery: research, synthesis, and understanding users

  • Decision-making: where AI informs decisions and where judgment takes over

  • Collaboration: how working with engineering, design, and stakeholders is changing

  • Product strategy: whether AI changes how we think about direction and bets

  • Skills: what PMs may need to learn, unlearn, or double down on

Questions that may come up:

  • What PM tasks is AI making easier or faster?

  • What parts of the PM role still require strong human judgment?

  • Are the skills expected from PMs changing?

  • How are PMs actually using AI today?

  • What new opportunities or challenges does AI create for PMs?

  • What might the PM role look like 2–3 years from now?

Format:

This is an open, peer-led conversation, not a webinar or a panel. There are no slides, no product demos, and no pitches. A facilitator guides the flow and makes sure everyone has room to speak.

Share as much or as little as you like. Listening is welcome, though the circle works best when people bring their own experiences. Enthusiasts, skeptics, and people still making up their minds are all welcome, and disagreement is part of the point.

Who Should Attend:

  • Product Managers and Product Owners at any level

  • Product professionals in roles such as product ops, product design, and product analytics

  • Engineers, designers, business analyst, project managers, founders, and others who work closely with product teams

  • Anyone genuinely curious about how AI is changing product work, whether you use it daily or haven't started yet

You don't need to be an AI expert. Curiosity and a willingness to share are enough.

What You Can Take Away:

  • A clearer picture of how other PMs are actually using AI, beyond what shows up in your feed

  • Perspectives from people in different industries, company types, and career stages

  • One or two ideas you can try in your own work the following week

  • A better sense of which skills and challenges are emerging for PMs

  • Connections with product people who are thinking about the same questions

We won't hand you a playbook. You'll leave with sharper questions and a few ideas worth testing.
