Morning Pages: Monthly Journaling Meetup & Stationery Swap
Join us for Morning Pages: Paper Plant Co.’s monthly journaling club!
Start your morning with a cozy, intimate gathering for neighbors and analog lovers to slow down, put pen to paper, and connect over a shared love of the written word. Each month, we’ll gather around the table in our Highland Park location with a seasonal theme and a few gentle prompts to inspire introspection and creativity.
No experience necessary. Come as you are and bring your favorite journal, a pen you love, and an open heart.
🌞June’s theme: Solstice
Give yourself a little self-care before family time (if you celebrate Father's Day). June's prompts will be inspired by beginnings, turning points, and the invitation to bring more light into our lives.
What to expect:
😌 Grounding moment and community introductions
📝 Guided journaling
💞 Stationery swap (optional: feel free to bring gently used or extra washi tape, stickers, pens, paper goods, etc. that you'd like to share or trade)

About your hosts
Paper Plant Co. is an independent stationery boutique on a mission to create an idyllic analog world—one pen, notebook, and roll of washi tape at a time. Founded by Friedia Niimura and rooted in Los Angeles’ Chinatown and Highland Park neighborhoods, Paper Plant Co. curates a thoughtful selection of Japanese stationery and paper goods from beloved brands around the world, alongside our own in-house designs. More than a shop, we’re a communal space for creativity, connection, and the quiet joy of putting pen to paper. Follow along our analog adventures @paperplant.co.
Morning Pages will be guided by Krystie Yen, a Highland Park local, creativity coach, and member of the Paper Plant Co. team! She hosts workshops and community gatherings to help people slow down and reconnect with their creativity. Follow along at @createwithkrystie.
