AI Entreprenership: Demo day [MBA-297]

​Dear Builders, Mentors, Investors & Friends of Berkeley

Prof. Omri Even-Tov and Alex Zekoff are wrapping up the inaugural AI Entrepreneurship class at UC Berkeley.

​About the class
From more than 300 student applications, we selected 27 top teams from across Berkeley to build AI-native products in a 14-week, accelerator-style course. Each week, students worked with 5-10 new mentors and built rapidly, burning millions of tokens and writing thousands of lines of code.

​The teams built products across a wide range of areas: from wearables for manufacturing, simulated populations for survey research, and deep agentic workflows spanning FinOps to early childhood care.

​Demo Day
We selected the top 10 teams that we believe are most ready for venture funding. We would love for you to join us and support them at our Bear-Cave themed Demo Day. 🐻

​Logistics
📅 Thursday, April 23
📍 Haas School of Business, Anderson Auditorium
🕕 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

• ​6:10 PM: Welcome keynote by Alex and Omri

• ​6:20 PM: Judging criteria and VC introduction by Devansh

• ​6:30 PM: Top 10 team pitches and Q&A

• ​8:30 PM: Opportunity for top teams to sign up for 1:1 time with VCs in conference rooms

• ​9:00 PM: Afterparty for students (separate invite to follow)

​How to attend
Because of venue capacity, attendance is limited and registration is by invitation only.

• ​All mentors, judges, and speakers who supported the class are warmly invited. Please join us again.

• ​Each student entrepreneur in the class is invited, along with one guest.

• ​A select group of VCs will also be invited. Please request an invite or email us to learn more about the teams.

• ​Select faculty members and friends of Berkeley are invited.
