Ridiculous AI Hackathon #3
After our first 2 events selling out (thank you all!!), it's time for our last event in the series.....
It's nearly Christmas and we're ending the year the only way that makes sense - building the most ridiculous AI nonsense we possibly can.
Forget solving world hunger. Forget disrupting industries. Tonight, we're building absolute nonsense and we're doing it together.
The Brief: Build the most ridiculous thing you can in 2 hours. The dafter, the better. The more pointless, the more perfect.
AI that turns your marriage announcement into a B2B lesson for LinkedIn? Gold. Bot that generates increasingly dramatic weather complaints? Perfect for Aberdeen. App that actively makes your photos worse? Chef's kiss.
How it works:
→ 6pm: Doors open, pizza arrives
→ 6:15pm: Quick intro and brainstorm session
→ 6:30pm: Build time starts - you've got 2 hours
→ 8:30pm: Quick-fire showcase of ridiculous builds
→ Everyone votes for the most ridiculous creation
→ Winner gets eternal glory (and probably some sort of daft prize)
→ 9:00pm: Time to wrap up and wonder what we are doing with our lives
Build solo, come as a team or find a team on the night. No rules. No pressure. Just pure, unadulterated silliness before the chaos of Christmas kicks in.
What you need: Your laptop, your sense of humour, and a willingness to embrace the absurd. That's it.
What we're providing: Pizza, soft drinks, and an audience for your ridiculous creation.
Practical Details:

About AI Builders: AI Builders is Scotland's #1 AI community for folk building with AI or just curious about it. Started in 2024 in Glasgow, we've brought the community up to Aberdeen for the love of tech. These events are run voluntarily for the community and all support is welcome.
