​Join us for Miami Hardware Meetup’s inaugural hardware hackathon! We’re stripping away the hardware complexity and putting raw creation front and center. Every team gets the exact same kit; what you build on top of it is where the magic happens.

​The Challenge

​Build and launch a web app hosted entirely on a Raspberry Pi.

​No hours wasted fighting local server configs, wrangling SSL certificates, or debugging environment setups, Devin AI handles the heavy lifting on infrastructure so you can jump straight to building, deploying, and demoing your product.

• ​12:00 PM – 12:20 PM: Check-in and kit pickup

• ​12:20 PM –12:40PM: Kickoff

• ​12:40 PM –1:10PM:"Hello Pi" checkpoint

• ​1:10 PM –3:40PM: Build (2.5 hrs)

• ​3:40 PM – 3:55 PM: Feature freeze and submission

• ​4:40 PM– 4:50 PM: Judge deliberation

• ​4:50 PM – 5:00 PM: Awards and teardown

​You can build anything, but if you need a spark, try one of these directions:

• ​Offline / Air-Gapped: Turn your Pi into a local Wi-Fi hotspot running an off-grid bulletin board, local radio station, offline wiki, or mesh file drop.

• ​Edge Utilities: Build network monitoring dashboards, local automation webhooks, or privacy-first self-hosted RSS/note tools.

• ​Multi-User Web Apps: Create local browser multiplayer games, real-time collaborative whiteboards, or live polling systems.

• ​Local AI: Push the edge with on-device voice transcription, offline summarizers, or lightweight local models.
