Photo-Writing #1
We're trying something a little different this time. Instead of a traditional photo-walk, we'll be mixing photography and creative writing.
The plan is to keep it casual, with the primary focus being to foster connection and encourage folks to step out of their shells. Please do not provide criticism, constructive or otherwise, unless someone specifically requests it.
Our tentative schedule is:
Meet up at the event location at 6:00 PM.
At 6:15 PM, we will head for a brief photo-walk. Don't be late or you'll have to make your own way!
At roughly 7:00 PM, we should arrive at Toronto Music Garden, where we will set up our picnic blankets and get to writing about one or more of the photos we took during the walk. You can do a personal reflection, a poem, a piece of flash fiction, or whatever else strikes your fancy.
At 8:00 PM, we will get into small groups and share both our writing and the photo(s) that inspired them.
NOTE: Ticket cost is optional, but will help cover snacks & refreshments. You are also free to bring your own shareables to the picnic portion of the event!
