About Event

Produced by Project Glitch, a team of journalists whose other work includes the annual DC Privacy Summit (watch our highlight reel for that here).

At this Chatham House roundtable, the conversation will focus on the stablecoin systems that deploy emerging cryptographic tools to keep transaction information private, and will delve into urgent logistical questions pertaining to law enforcement investigations, decentralized finance, and personal privacy.

The goal will be for participants, including developers and policymakers, to find common language and understanding around today’s technical capabilities, and the implications of those capabilities for both law enforcement and civil liberties.

THE SUMMIT WILL CONTINUE IN THE AFTERNOON! Roundtable attendees are also invited to join us for lunch, followed by a larger, on-the-record afternoon conference in the same venue. The afternoon will feature a mix of keynotes, fireside chats, and small panel discussions. Sign up for the afternoon session here. (Please RSVP for both the AM session and the PM session if you plan to attend both!)

We're keeping the AM Chatham House rule roundtable small on purpose. RSVP promptly to ensure you get a seat. A continental breakfast will be served.
