Accelerator for Cancer Therapeutics Info Session
The Accelerator for Cancer Therapeutics is a nine-month, CPRIT-funded program run by the Texas Medical Center, built around a curated mentor network and dedicated entrepreneurs-in-residence. Applications close October 30, 2026.
— What ACT is: a program run by TMC Innovation, funded by CPRIT through 2031, offered at no cost and taking no equity
— What you get: mentorship from biotech executives and scientific leaders, grant-writing support for SBIR/STTR and CPRIT, access to the TMCi Computational Chemistry Core, and lab space, equipment and vivarium access at Therapeutics Labs @ TMC
— What you take on: completing an SBIR/STTR or CPRIT grant application during the program (federal and state grants that fund early R&D without taking a stake in your company), which means incorporating along the way
