Notion for Freshies: First-Year Ready Kit

​College is not only about keeping up with academic demands, but also about learning how to manage them effectively.

​In this session, I will guide incoming first-year students on how Notion can be used as a practical system for organizing student life. This includes managing class schedules, tracking requirements and deadlines, and structuring notes in a way that supports consistent learning.

​The transition to college can feel overwhelming, especially when everything is new and fast-paced. This session is designed to help ease that adjustment by providing a simple and structured introduction to Notion that students can immediately apply.

​Participants will be guided through building their own basic workspace, using ready-made templates for schedules, tasks, and academic organization. The session is designed to be hands-on so that students can create alongside the discussion.

​A dedicated Q&A segment will also be included to address questions about Notion setup, study organization, and how to adapt the system based on individual needs and learning styles.

​By the end of the session, participants are expected to have a functional personal workspace and a clearer approach to managing their responsibilities as they begin their first year in college.
