​MTL_code is a laid-back evening where you can expect pizza, drinks, and a talk or two from guest speakers on software development, programming, and the latest in technology. Whether you’re a seasoned dev, curious about building great software products, or want to network with other VC-backed startups in Montreal, it’s a great opportunity to share ideas, ask questions and meet people who geek out on the same stuff you do.

​Here are the talks to expect:

​Sylvain Perron, CEO and Co-Founder of Botpress leads the company in enabling teams to build and deploy AI agents that do real work with real impact. He will deliver the talk llmz: The TypeScript AI Engine. You’ll learn how to use AI reliably in your projects—making LLMs perform complex actions in a safe, predictable way. We’ll explore llmz, an AI execution engine that writes, runs, and thinks in TypeScript to power LLM-native apps and features.

​Alexandre Bouchard, CEO and Co-Founder of Hookdeck, will present Webhooks at Scale: Best Practices, Lessons Learned, drawing on Hookdeck’s experience processing over 100 billion webhooks to highlight architecture patterns, event-driven application considerations, and the future of webhooks with event destinations and gateways.
