Get into Games: Hartlepool

​​If you have ever wondered what a career in the UK games sector looks like? Get into Games is your first stop.

​Supported by Tanglewood Games, Game Republic and Hartlepool Borough Council.

​​This one-day FREE event features;

• ​​Stalls from some of the region's most well-known game developers, University games courses and training providers looking to support your journey into the sector

• ​​A full programme of games career talks from a range of games development professionals on everything from building the level to how to make amazing audio for your games.

• ​​A 1-2-1 careers cafe for 15-minute chats with sector professionals about your career direction

• ​​Entry-level workshops for people looking to develop their first game concept or learn to use game development engines

​​By the end of the day, you will have;

• ​​A good plan for your next steps into the sector

• ​​Understood what 'good' looks like for a range of different roles

• ​​Met game developers face-to-face and played in-development titles

• ​​Had the chance to sign up for further training, open days and development courses based on your needs
