In January, Taiwan and Phoenix formalized the Taiwan–Phoenix Innovation Alliance, establishing a long-term framework that connects Taiwan’s strengths in R&D and advanced manufacturing with Phoenix’s rapidly growing AI and semiconductor ecosystem.
This mixer is one of the first community-level touchpoints under the alliance, bringing together founders, operators, investors, and ecosystem leaders from both sides to exchange insights, build relationships, and explore new opportunities for cross-border collaboration. Tesoro VC powers this alliance through our AI + semiconductor accelerator and venture fund, backing global tech founders building the next generation of cross-border innovation, looking to land and expand in the United States.
At the same time, Taiwanese startups are increasingly looking to Japan as a key market for regional expansion. With deep industrial networks, strong enterprise demand, and growing government and ecosystem support for startup collaboration, Japan has become a natural next step for many Taiwan-based teams in AI, healthcare, semiconductors, smart manufacturing, and enterprise solutions.
Together, these developments point to a larger movement: Taiwan’s innovation ecosystem is no longer expanding through isolated overseas showcases, but through deeper, market-specific bridges that connect technology, capital, customers, and local partners. This event is designed as one of those bridges.
今年一月，台灣與鳳凰城正式成立「台灣–鳳凰城創新聯盟」，建立長期合作架構，串連台灣在研發與先進製造上的優勢，以及鳳凰城快速成長的 AI 與半導體生態系。這場交流活動是該聯盟首批落地的社群互動之一，將邀請來自雙方的創業者、營運者、投資人與生態系領袖齊聚一堂，交流市場觀察、建立合作關係，並探索跨境發展的新機會。
與此同時，近年來也有越來越多台灣新創將日本視為區域拓展的重要市場。日本擁有成熟的產業網絡、明確的企業創新需求，以及逐步升溫的政府與生態系支持，對於 AI、醫療健康、半導體、智慧製造與企業解決方案等領域的台灣團隊而言，已成為極具潛力的下一站。
這些發展共同指向一個更大的趨勢：台灣新創的國際化，已不只是海外展示或短期拜訪，而是透過更深入的市場橋接，連結技術、資金、客戶與在地夥伴。這場活動，正是這樣的橋梁之一。
