Seng Woei Yuan
As Chief of AI Ecosystem at AIMX Network, Woei Yuan focus on fostering meaningful connections among users, leaders, startups, corporations, SMEs, researchers, governments, investors, and innovators within the AI ecosystem. Additionally, Woei Yuan serves as the Ecosystem Advisor at the Centre for Progressive Artificial Intelligence Technology (CPAIT) and as an Ecosystem Partner for the AIM ASEAN Singapore Programme by the ASEAN Foundation. In these capacities, he contributes to building partnerships and supporting initiatives aimed at empowering Southeast Asian MSMEs and solving critical regional challenges through AI.
Woei Yuan’s dedication lies in transforming the technology landscape by connecting stakeholders and enabling innovation. In the lead up to his role as Director of Technology Ecosystem Cluster and China Market at MP Group, he was humbled to have had the chance to oversee the planning, partnerships-building and delivery of SWITCH (Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology), the largest startup & innovation festival in Southeast Asia. Over 5 editions of SWITCH, he had grown the platform to be THE startup & innovation festival in Southeast Asia, with over 15,000 attendees from the global startup, investor, research and tech communities in its 2023 flagship edition.

With an MBA degree and vast experience, he is able to determine where possible values are from data collected. He does it differently by building internal capabilities, through training, consulting, and mentoring, allowing businesses to continuously take advantage of their data.
Uniquely, Koo is experienced in the full process of getting value from data, from data collection, management & governance to implementation of insights through strategy and business performance measurement.
He is also a startup advisor in various startup enablers like Start2 Group (from Germany) & Ignyte (from Dubai), social enterprise Inclus SG and Cybsecurity company Cloudsine Pte Ltd.
