A Celebration of Science

​A space to honour tough feelings around a world that is changing faster than we can grasp or respond to it.

​The impetus for this eco-hope circle was Trump's sudden firing of the National Science Board, which guides the research conducted by the National Science Foundation in the United States. As long-standing institutions, man-made and natural, undergo a period of redefinition, so must we, and our connection to the cause. We will celebrate science, let off steam, and rediscover wellbeing through connection.

​We will convene, converse and cleanse, and find humanity in late-stage capitalism through shared stories of creativity and innovation. We will high-five our eco-anxiety and eco-grief — we will synthesize it and channel our energy into empowerment.

​By the end of the workshop, you will be able to alchemize eco-anxiety into purpose-driven action.
