This field day is for cooperative officials, farmer group leaders, aggregators and processors in Makueni who want to understand what solar drying actually involves before making a decision. You will hear directly from the cooperative team using the dryer, including what has worked and what has been difficult.

Attendance and lunch are free. Participants make their own way to the site.
A shuttle runs from Synnefa office located at Bishop Magua Centre, opposite Uchumi Ngong Hyper, Ngong Roa at 09:00 for anyone who needs it — tell us when you register and we will hold you a seat.
Places are limited to 25 and registration requires approval, so the group stays small enough for a real conversation rather than a presentation.
