In this talk, we’ll set up a simple Remix app using MongoDB and Mongoose, and look at a few common issues like inconsistent data and hard-to-debug bugs. We’ll walk through a practical approach to keeping your data predictable without adding a lot of complexity. Then we’ll look at how to inspect and debug your app by working directly with your database.

​Valeri Karpov is the maintainer of Mongoose, the most popular ODM for Node.js and MongoDB, and the most downloaded database framework on npm. He is the founder and CEO of MeanIT Software, a small developer consultancy here in Miami. Previously, he was an early employee at MongoDB, LevelUp, and Booster Fuels.
