appliedAI Developers Meetup @ Munich
The era of AI demos is over. The Munich AI Nexus is a senior-level meetup series for architects and engineers solving real-world production AI challenges.
This session continues the Production Readiness Blueprint series at appliedAI Developers.
We've just completed Module 1: Context – From Data Chaos to Clarity, and now we're moving forward to the next hard problem: making agent behavior explicit, testable, and auditable.
FOCUS:
Theme: "Behaviour - Explicit, Inspectable Planning"
Most agent failures aren’t caused by bad reasoning. They happen when reasoning meets the real world:rate limits
partial failures
messy, multimodal inputs
missing decision traces
uncontrolled execution.
This module focuses on Behavior as a first-class system concern. Not “LLMs that think better”, but systems that plan explicitly, act predictably and remain debuggable under real constraints.
We’ll look at how production teams design agent behavior that remains reliable when models are throttled, inputs are chaotic, and execution environments are imperfect.Read on here to discover the 9 themes for our upcoming meetups and the final scope of our Production Readiness Blueprint.
WHO THIS IS FOR:
AI engineers
AI architects
ML platform teams
Applied AI leads
Builders working beyond PoCs
If you’re operating agent systems in production, it is.
HOW YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE:
Share your related personal challenge, lesson learned.
AGENDA:
Talk #1: Andrei - "Routing, Throttling, and Reliability: Lessons from Operating AI Systems Under Real Constraints"
A production-focused walkthrough of how backend routing, model balancing, and execution handling evolve when systems hit:
rate limits
availability issues
latency constraints
scaling pressure
What breaks first, what actually works, what remains brittle, and what Andrei would do differently if starting today.
Talk #2: Interactive Session with Brinda and Tanja
"Multimodal Intake as a Planning Problem: From Chaotic Emails to Structured Execution"
A hands-on exploration of how real-world work starts:
vague emails
scanned PDFs
attachments
partial intent
We’ll explore strategies for:
model routing
decision policies
context preservation
intermediate result reuse
cost latency quality tradeoffs
observability and failure handling
This session is discussion-driven and workshop-style.
