​We’ll hear Ville Kaisla from Taiste, who will share the story behind Hesburger’s ordering system transformation: from planning and design to the importance of human-centred software development.

​How do you design software around real people and their needs? What does a large-scale ordering system transformation look like in practice? Come hear Ville’s insights and get a behind-the-scenes look at the process.

​What is DASH?

​DASH is a student-lead design-focused company based at Aalto Design Factory in Espoo, Finland, that spun out of Aaltoes. Their main event is the Sprint, an annual design hackathon organized every year in March, where student teams spend a weekend tackling real challenges brought by partner companies, pitching their solutions at the end. The Sprint has grown year over year, with the 2027 edition (19-21.3.2027) expecting around 300 participants. Alongside it, DASH also runs smaller events centered around design, creativity and innovation like the speaker event series DASH Bits.
