RSU Inovāciju diena 2026
Kā ideja kļūst par uzņēmumu? Kā pētniecības rezultāts var mainīt veselības aprūpi? Un kā šajā procesā iesaistīties pašam?
5. novembrī aicinām uz RSU Inovāciju dienu, kur satiksies studenti, pētnieki, uzņēmēji un inovāciju interesenti. Programmā būs pieredzes stāsti, diskusijas, pētniecības projektu prezentācijas, expo zona un divi satelītpasākumi.

🌐 Galvenās skatuves programma notiks latviešu valodā ar pieejamu tulkojumu angļu valodā.
RSU studenti, kuri apmeklēs Inovāciju dienu vai kādu no abiem satelītpasākumiem, saņems dalības sertifikātu, kas pamato attaisnotu lekciju kavējumu 5. novembrī. Tas attiecas arī uz studentiem, kuri piedalās tikai Demo dienā vai sporta darbnīcā.
Galvenā skatuve
No plkst. 9.00 līdz 12.30 uzmanības centrā būs uzņēmējdarbība, ideju attīstīšana un drosme mēģināt. Dienas sākumā ar stāstu par uzņēmējdarbību un iedvesmu rīkoties dalīsies Latvijas Jaunuzņēmumu asociācijas Startin.LV izpilddirektors Roberts Alhimionoks. Par to, kā nebaidīties kļūdīties un turpināt virzīt savas ieceres uz priekšu, stāstīs Longevity Catalyst dibinātājs un inovāciju eksperts Lauris Vidzis. Ar saviem pieredzes stāstiem dalīsies arī citas spilgtas personības, atklājot gan sasniegumus, gan izaicinājumus un lēmumus, kas palīdzējuši attīstīt idejas. Tā būs iespēja rast iedvesmu, iepazīt dažādus uzņēmējdarbības ceļus un pārdomāt, kā savas zināšanas un intereses pārvērst praktiskā iecerē.
No plkst. 13.30 līdz 17.00 pievērsīsimies zinātnei un inovācijām RSU. Pētnieki iepazīstinās ar projektiem, kas meklē jaunas pieejas diagnostikā, terapijā un sportā, saprotami atklājot to iespējamo nozīmi cilvēku veselībā un ikdienā. Piemēram, vai zobārstniecības 3D rentgena attēli var palīdzēt savlaicīgi noteikt osteoporozes risku? Vai dators var palīdzēt radīt labākas zāles? Un kā viedās zeķes varētu palīdzēt mazināt sporta traumu risku? Projektu stāsti un demonstrācijas ļaus iepazīt universitātē topošos risinājumus, uzdot jautājumus un saskatīt jaunas sadarbības iespējas. Pasākumā tiks pasniegti arī apbalvojumi RSU projektiem, kas aktīvi iesaistījušies inovāciju veicināšanā.
Expo zona
No plkst. 9.00 līdz 13:30 RSU vestibilā iepazīsti demonstrētos risinājumus, satiec to izstrādātājus un uzdod jautājumus! Expo zona papildinās skatuves programmu ar iespēju tuvāk apskatīt tehnoloģijas un aprunāties par to ceļu līdz praktiskam lietojumam.

Plkst. 13.30–16.30 | RSU Farmācijas studiju un pētniecības centra pasākumu zona, Konsula iela 21
Pirmsinkubācijas programmas dalībnieki un komandas prezentēs savas biznesa idejas, pie kurām strādājuši programmas laikā. Ikviens interesents ir aicināts klausīties, iepazīt topošos risinājumus un atbalstīt ideju autorus. Pasākumu noslēgs apliecību izsniegšana un svinīgs programmas noslēgums. Pasākums notiks angļu valodā.
💻 Praktiska darbnīca “AI sportā: no datiem līdz interaktīvam informācijas panelim”
Plkst. 13.30–16.30 | RSU centrālā ēka, Dzirciema iela 16. Telpa tiks precizēta
Start NIH / StudentLab darbnīcā ar Google AI Studio un Gemini palīdzību pārvērtīsi sporta testu datus interaktīvā digitālā rīkā. Praktiski izmēģināsi, kā formulēt uzdevumus mākslīgajam intelektam, pārbaudīt tā piedāvātos risinājumus un uzlabot rezultātu.
Darbnīca paredzēta studentiem bez programmēšanas vai mākslīgā intelekta priekšzināšanām un notiks angļu valodā. Vietu skaits ir ierobežots. Līdzi jāņem savs portatīvais dators un lādētājs.

How does an idea become a business? How can research change healthcare? And how can you get involved?
Join us for RSU Innovation Day on 5 November, bringing together students, researchers, entrepreneurs and anyone curious about innovation. The programme will feature talks, discussions, research project presentations, an expo area and two side events.

🌐 The main stage programme will be held in Latvian, with English interpretation available.
RSU students attending Innovation Day or either side event will receive a certificate of attendance supporting an excused absence from lectures on 5 November. This also applies to students attending only the Demo Day or the sports workshop.
Main stage
From 9:00 to 12:30, the focus will be on entrepreneurship, developing ideas and finding the confidence to try. The day will begin with insights into entrepreneurship and inspiration to take action from Roberts Alhimionoks, CEO of the Latvian Startup Association Startin.LV. Lauris Vidzis, founder of Longevity Catalyst and innovation expert, will discuss how to overcome the fear of making mistakes and keep moving your ideas forward. Other inspiring speakers will share their experiences, exploring the achievements, challenges and decisions that have helped them develop their ideas. It will be an opportunity to find inspiration, discover different paths into entrepreneurship and consider how to turn your knowledge and interests into a practical venture.
From 13:30 to 17:00, we will explore science and innovation at RSU. Researchers will introduce projects investigating new approaches to diagnostics, treatment and sport, explaining their potential impact on health and everyday life. Could 3D dental X-rays help identify osteoporosis risk early? Could a computer help develop better medicines? And how might smart socks help reduce the risk of sports injuries? Project presentations and demonstrations will introduce solutions being developed at the university, with opportunities to ask questions and explore potential collaborations. Awards will also be presented to RSU projects that have actively contributed to advancing innovation.
Expo area
From 9:00 to 13:30 in the RSU lobby, explore the solutions on display, meet their developers and ask questions. The expo area will complement the stage programme with opportunities to take a closer look at technologies and discuss their path towards practical use.
Side events
💡 RSU Business Incubator Pre-incubation Demo Day
13:30–16:30 | Event area at the RSU Pharmaceutical Education and Research Centre, Konsula iela 21
Participants and teams from the pre-incubation programme will present the business ideas they have developed during the programme. Everyone is welcome to listen, discover emerging solutions and support the teams. The event will conclude with the presentation of certificates and a celebration of the programme’s completion. The event will be held in English.
💻 Practical workshop “AI in Sport: From Data to an Interactive Dashboard”
13:30–16:30 | RSU main building, Dzirciema iela 16. The room will be announced shortly.
In this Start NIH / StudentLab workshop, you will use Google AI Studio and Gemini to turn sports performance test data into an interactive digital tool. You will practise writing instructions for AI, evaluating its proposed solutions and improving the results.
The workshop is designed for students with no prior programming or AI knowledge and will be held in English. Places are limited. Please bring your own laptop and charger.
