Curious how other people are using AI to think, write, plan, or keep their lives organized? Join us for a relaxed, in-person conversation about AI and Second Brains with people on your wavelength.
This is Porto's first meetup in the AI Second Brain series from Forte Labs, the team behind Tiago Forte's book Building a Second Brain. Meetups are happening in cities around the world this fall, and this one's ours.
WHO IT'S FOR
Everyone, at every level. Maybe you've barely opened ChatGPT. Maybe you keep notes in Notion, Obsidian, or your phone. Maybe you've built an elaborate AI-powered system. You'll fit right in. You don't need a perfect note-taking setup, a paid membership, or years of AI experience. You just need to be curious enough to show up. Feel free to bring a friend.

WHAT'S A SECOND BRAIN?
A Second Brain is a trusted place outside your head where your notes, ideas, and half-formed thoughts live, so you can find and use them later. It can be as simple as a notes app. The idea comes from Tiago Forte's Building a Second Brain, and today many people pair theirs with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or NotebookLM so it can help them think, not just store things.
YOUR HOST
Hi, I'm Justin Knepper, a designer, novelist, and community organizer based in Vila do Conde. I run Knepper Design Write, a web design studio for authors, and I write paranormal mystery and fantasy. I founded Just Write Porto, a writers' meetup group I hosted for years, and before that I organized employee resource groups in banking. I'm building my own Second Brain in Notion and Claude, and I'm hosting this because I'd love to bring people in Porto together to swap real ideas about how we're using these tools.

About the venue: Capela Incomum is a local wine bar that's kindly letting us use its upstairs room for free. They serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, plus some food.
