About Event

Most people in Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Product Manager roles never see the full picture of product development.

They see the slice their team owns — sprints, retros, a few stakeholder meetings, maybe a PI Planning event. They rarely see a business problem move from Design Thinking, into an Epic, into a PI Plan, into sprints, into a release, with them owning a real seat at every step.

So when interviews come, they do the only thing available to them: they memorise. Framework definitions, STAR templates, model answers to "tell me about a time…" It works up to a point. Then in senior rounds, it stops — because senior interviewers aren't listening for the right definition. They're listening for whether you've actually lived the work.

The current job coaching cohort has spent the last few weeks doing something different. They ran a live project end-to-end — Design Thinking to release — rotating through Product Manager, Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Program Manager seats. A real project, real decisions, real trade-offs.

In this session, seven of them will walk you through the part they owned:

  • A Product Manager on Design Thinking to Epic and Feature.

  • A Product Owner on taking that Epic into SAFe PI Planning.

  • A Scrum Master on how the sprint that followed ran in Jira.

  • A Scrum Master on a Gemba Walk that surfaced a real process improvement.

  • A Program Manager on RAID, RACI, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.

  • A Product Owner on a metrics system, wired live into a Jira dashboard.

  • A Product Manager on release budgeting and the feature-plus-resource timeline.

Then each will take live interview questions on the work they just demonstrated. Not rehearsed answers — the interview version of what you just watched them do.

By the time these seven interview for their next role, they won't be preparing answers. They'll be sharing experiences.

Who this session is for:

  • People thinking about their next career move

  • Hiring managers evaluating referrals for their teams

  • Anyone considering whether the program is right for someone they know

Format: Live on Zoom, 90 minutes. Cameras off if you prefer. No pitch, no slides — just the work.

Space is limited.
