​Luciano C. Oviedo

​Luciano C. Oviedo is an action researcher and technology entrepreneur. He is co-founder/CEO of LearnHaus AI, a Techstars-backed early-stage startup building socially-responsive/safe machine intelligence for reducing cognitive debt and accelerating human intellectual fitness and social innovation. He is an AI technology strategy fellow for the ERC/IEDC, a national non-profit building out the next generation future of economic and workforce development across the USA. He previously practiced business/ corporate strategy at Intel Corporation over a decade where he completed his strategy residency and specialized in emerging technologies and new product development. He performs multi-disciplinary social innovation action research intersecting (social) impact, (open) strategy, design (thinking) and emerging technologies. He has contributed to the Strategic Management Society as co-organizer for Special Conferences at UC-Berkeley Haas, as director/ organizer for extensions hosting open strategy workshops held in Madrid, San Francisco, Denver, Stockholm, elected Rep-at-Large for the Strategy Practice IG as well as visiting researcher at the Santa Fe Institute, Oxford and Arizona State University. He has collaborated on publications to the Strategic Management Journal and California Management Journal. He earned his electrical/computer engineering bachelors and masters in business from University of Wisconsin - Madison (USA) and doctorate on strategy for social impact of emerging technologies at Warwick Business School (UK).
