Know Where You Stand: A Hands-On Self-Assessment Using Innovation Readiness Levels
What would it take to say your venture is “ready”? Readiness is easier to describe in a funding application than to back up with evidence. In this hands-on session, we will walk you through and kick-start your ability to score your venture against the KTH Innovation Readiness Level™ (IRL) framework. It’s an internationally recognized tool used by funders, accelerators and support organizations around the world, and seen in areas across Alberta’s innovation ecosystem.
Within the Innovation Readiness Levels, you rate yourself on six areas: customer, technology, business, intellectual property, team and funding. The goal is to help you get your bearings, not to judge you. You’ll see where you are, start to see where your evidence is, and what to work on next.
