AI for Normal People is a welcoming, practical event for complete beginners and anyone who wants to use AI with more confidence. There is no assumed knowledge. Every beginner question is welcome—without judgment, jargon or pressure to keep up.

PART 1 — FREE NETWORKING & OPEN STUDIO

Meet founders, professionals, parents, SMEs and members of the local business community. Make useful connections, exchange ideas, visit the KYC Digital studio and hear practical contributions on AI, founder workspace and wellbeing while you work.
Hosted by KYC Digital in conjunction with Foundry, with wellbeing insight from Virgin Active Bromley.

PART 2 — AI FOR NORMAL PEOPLE PRACTICAL LIVE LAB
12:00pm–3:00pm | £10 | 15 places
At noon, the free networking session closes and the separate paid, facilitated Live Lab begins.
Bring a charged laptop or phone and one genuine, non-confidential task, question, idea or workflow. You will receive practical guidance while working on something relevant to you.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need previous AI experience? No. We begin with the basics.
Can I attend only the free networking session? Yes. Select the free ticket when registering.
Does the free ticket include the Live Lab? No. The £10 Live Lab is a separate ticket. Select both tickets if you want to attend the whole day.
Can AI create passive income? AI can support research, testing, creation and delivery, but it cannot guarantee income. We will explore credible opportunities without get-rich-quick claims.
Is the venue accessible? Lift access and disabled parking are available. Please contact the organiser before the event if you require a reasonable adjustment.
Will refreshments be provided? Light refreshments and hot drinks will be available during the free networking session. Please disclose allergies or dietary requirements during registration.
