Minc Game: Self Publishing An Indie Game
Overview
In this talk, Marlène Delrive (game designer, artist and co-founder of Autoscopia) will take you through what it took to self-publish 'As Long As You're Here', an emotional narrative game about Alzheimer's. Finding a publisher (especially a good one) is hard, and it's important for indie studios to be prepared to self-publish. But self-publishing doesn't have to just be a plan B, it can have many benefits to both the team and project. In this talk, Marlène will try to demystify what it takes to publish your own game, and share both her tips and what she would do differently if she had to do it again.
Who should attend?
This session is for game developers in the region looking to learn more about what it takes to self publish their games.
Limited to 40 seats - it's only possible to attend the event IRL, no stream or call in will be available.
