​From spotting scams to understanding how government works, navigating today's world means knowing what to look for and where to find reliable information. Stop by the NYC PIT Pop Up to discover two interactive projects that put these tools into people's hands.

​SATA (Scam Awareness Training Application) is a simulation platform that uses repetition and gamification to help people recognize the red flags associated with phone, email, text, and in-person scams. Through interactive simulations, visitors can practice identifying common scam tactics in a safe environment.

​The Civic Stoop uses AI to connect fragmented public records into a unified map of political influence. Government contracts, campaign donations, lobbying disclosures, and voting records are often scattered across disconnected databases. By linking these records, The Civic Stoop helps journalists, organizers, and everyday citizens explore relationships between lobbying, legislation, and government decision making.
