​Identifying and Fixing Issues in Code Using AI-Based Tools

​Software vulnerabilities are a constant concern for every developer. Is there a memory leak hiding somewhere? A race condition waiting to surface in production? A security flaw that's slipped past code review? Are we unknowingly violating function purity where it matters most?

​Maintaining code written by others is never easy — defects can tick away silently, undetected until it's too late. In this session, we'll explore how AI-based tools can help us detect these issues faster and more reliably, using multiple real-world code examples. We'll go beyond detection to apply automated fixes, and critically reason about why each fix works and what tradeoffs it introduces.
